1. How do you source your materials?

Sustainability is at the core of what we do and we take inspiration from the environment around us. We exclusively use repurposed vintage textiles. We love capturing the sentimentality of pre-loved fabrics and rewriting their story!

2.  Do you use sustainable packaging?

We are strongly committed to sustainability and the environment. Our packaging is sourced as sustainably as possible from recycled materials. Our swing tags are even made from seeded cardboard, which means if you plant & water them, Daisies will bloom!

3. How do I contact you?

Please contact us via email at sales@hastingshandmade.com We will aim to respond to your email as soon as possible, generally within 1-2 business days.

4. When will my ready-to-wear items be packed and shipped?

Domestic orders:
Ready-to-wear orders will be packed and shipped within 1-2 business days via Australia Post. Please refer to current Australia Post shipping times for standard and express post. Generally, express post is next business day delivery and standard post is 3-6 business days.

International orders:
Ready-to-wear orders will be packed and shipped within 1-2 business days via DHL International. Please refer to current DHL shipping times for standard and direct post. Generally, direct post is 4-6 business day delivery and standard post is 3-14 business days.

Please note that due to COVID there may currently be delays in the delivery process.

5. When will my made to order items be packed and shipped?

Domestic & International orders:
Since made to order items are handmade to your requirements, please allow 4 weeks for us to manufacture and dispatch your garment.

Once, your garment is made, it will be shipped in line with the timeframes in question 4.

6. How can I track my parcel?

Domestic orders:
You can track your parcel here via Australia Post by entering your unique tracking number.

International orders:
You can track your parcel here via DHL by entering your unique tracking number.

7. Do you ship internationally?

We can ship to Europe, Asia Pacific, North America & Middle East via DHL international. However, please note additional import taxes for which you are liable may be applicable.

8. What is your returns policy?

Due to the unique vintage fabrics used and custom specifications of each dress, we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless there are major defects in your purchased item. We are more than happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.

Please contact us at sales@hastingshandmade.com within 48 hours of receiving your product if you have an issue.

It is expected that due to the nature of vintage fabrics, they may also contain minor fabric flaws. If you have any questions about the materials used to make your individual garment or accessory please contact us and we will happily provide more information and detailed pictures.
